Veterans hockey festival. Bordeaux. 29-31 May 2025 – 7 a side

If you are looking for a veterans hockey festival for your veterans team in May 2025, Bordeaux is a city to discover and you will love this event ! The veterans hockey festival des chateaux has changed its format and is held every second year in Bordeaux. 8 men teams and 6 women teams. Gala dinner on Saturday night + music with disc jokey.

Thursday 29th to Saturday 31st MAY 2025. Teams are expected to arrive on the Thursday early am or on the Wednesday pm. Hockey matches will be held on Thursday afternoon, Friday and Saturday all day. Sunday is free.

Details

Players must be over 40 years old. (An age tolerance can be accepted as the club is flexible but no more than 2 players)

2 X 20 minutes per game. 7 a side. Games are played on half a pitch.

Men tournament : 2 groups of 4 teams

Women tournament : 2 groups of 3-4 teams

Accommodation in 2-star-hotels or 3-star-hotels in Merignax, near the club (1,5km). The tournament will be played all days on a brand new pitch in Merignac.

We can help your team in coming over and get your players at the airport with coach and assist your team during your hockey trip here.

Price for a 4 days-3 nights in 2-star-hotels with breakfast, tournament fees and meals at the club  : from 389 euros per person (price valid for a minimum of 12 people)

The price for a “better” package (3-star-hotels , 4 days-3 nights including breakfast, tournament fees and meals at the club : from 449 euros per person (our price is valid for a minimum of 12 people playing at the tournament) (space limited)

Price for 4 days / 3 nights in 4 star-hotel BB in Merignac and entry at tournament : 519 euros per person. (space limited)

Teams from France, Spain, Belgium and Great Britain almost every year.

From the accommodation to the hockey games with local sides, transport in private coaches and sightseeing. In addition of the hockey tournament, we can take your team to Arcachon and the dune du Pyla, the highest natural sand duna of Europe on the Sunday or take your group toi a wine tasting (price upon request, depending on numbers)
