U12,U14 rugby festival Oct 2025 : Fromelles-Arras 2025 Tournament of Memories

An exclusive & unique rugby festival for youngsters held in Northern France on 2 different towns, Fromelles, near Lille & Arras, in order to celebrate History, Memory & Rugby. Honouring the 133 international rugby players who died in the First World War. Because Rugby & World War One are an unbreakable bond.

Sport and especially rugby, has played an awesome & impressive role in world history, in either major events or in wars. Between 1914 and 1918, Lille & Northern France region were the major theatres of the First World War. Sport and as said, rugby, took on an important dimension as soldiers of many nationalities, including British, Australians, New Zealanders or Canadians, were sent to fight on the battlefields.

This youth rugby tournament is held to celebrate the memory of these rugby players, soldiers, who died during WW1 and we invite youth rugby teams to participate in this event and Remember.
An international tournament on Saturday 25th Oct & Sunday 26th Oct 2025. Two memorial sites, 2 days of rugby. U12’s, U14’s tournaments. An international gala match between French and British Army Rugby Team held in Arras before the finals preceded.

Note that this official youth rugby event open to schools teams and clubs teams, supported by Hauts de France Regional Rugby Comitee, the Hauts de France Region, French districts of Nord & Pas de Calais,  is exclusively with ComeOn Sport.

FROMELLES U12’s RUGBY TOURNAMENT (near Lille)

16 teams – 4 groups

Rugby teams can arrive on the Friday pm an check-in in hotels, accommodations provided.

Saturday morning : free.

Saturday afternoon: group matches

Saturday evening: Gala dinner with all teams

Sunday morning: play down – play off in Fromelles.

Sunday afternoon in Arras: Sunday afternoon : Ranking games & Finals with a gala match FRANCE – ENGLAND

Prices/Packages

Rugby teams can participate and stay 3 days / 2 nights or 4 days / 3 nights. An an exception, some teams can participate in the 2-day-rugby-tournament and stay over night. Price on request. Tailor made quotes will be made. Limited space as many nations are expected. From 99€ per person
